Spend the day at the beach playing in the silky sand, or set off on a snorkeling adventure to catch a glimpse of the fish and turtles that call this paradise home. This morning around 8:00 am, tender in the waters of Lifou, the capital of the Loyalty Islands. The white sand beaches are surrounded by lush jungle, and dark cliffs dramatically juxtapose the emerald waters. Be sure to taste some of the island specialties made with local ingredients including lobster, coconut crab, taro and bananas. Set sail at 6 pm**

DAY 11 – Full Day in Vila, Vanuatu*

Join a scuba diving excursion to an underwater shipwreck, or even dive to the world’s only under water post office! DAY 12 – Full Day in Isle of Pines, New Caledonia

At 7:00 am, tender in the waters off the Isle of Pines. Captain James Cook named the isle for its native Araucaria trees, a conifer with a striking resemblance to pine. In a few areas, underground waters have carved natural pools that are perfect for a swim while others are best experienced by foot while viewing the stunning stalagmites. If you would prefer to get in some last minute snorkeling, the clear waters of the lagoon are an excellent for spotting tropical fish and coral in the shallow waters. Leave for Sydney at 5:00 pm

The boats are loaded with all kinds of products including fruits, vegetables, dry goods, housewares, and freshly cooked food. From the Floating market, we will travel on to Kanchanaburi. In Kanchanaburi, we will visit the Bridge Over the River Kwai, the War Museum, which was built with donations from Australians and former prisoners, and the War Cemetery. The cemetery was built by the British Commonwealth War Grave Association, on a plot of land that was donated by local Thai citizens

Originally constructed in 1632, the complex fell into disrepair. In the mid-1800’s, King Mongkut restored the site to its former glory. Upon arrival in Ayutthaya, enjoy sunset at Chai Wattanaram Temple. This temple was built by King Prasat Tong, who was actually a commoner who overthrew the previous king and took his throne. This is a lovely place to take in the nature and peace of Siam
